These gorgeous and extremely lightweight earrings feature 24k Gold Plate Hooks with a satin finish. A delicate Porcupine Quill hangs at the bottom. I have painted the tips of the Quills with a gold metallic oil-based paint. Also available with unpainted tips.

These quills are harvested from live porcupines with minimal effort. They fall out easily and regrow quickly. A typical method involves touching or laying some fabric over the porcupine and then simply removing it. Numerous quills come out easily into the fabric.
